Massage Therapy

Victoria Laemsae - Certified Small Animal Massage Practitioner

Healthy Pets Veterinary Hospital is pleased to add massage therapy to our line-up of complementary treatments for your pet! Animal massage therapists utilize hands-on techniques to stimulate circulation, relax muscles, and enhance range of motion in their dog and cat clients. Massage therapists work in conjunction with one of our veterinarians to develop and implement treatment plans based on the individual animal’s needs.

Massage therapy is great for newly adopted dogs as it can enhance bonding! Massage also increases circulation and flexibility; helps to develop and maintain muscle tone; and can ease the effects of stiffness or joint discomfort. Massage can be a good option post- surgery or other trauma rehabilitation.

All pets must be seen by one of our veterinarians to ensure they are a good candidate for massage. Massage appointments are typically 30 minutes and take place onsite at Healthy Pets.

Please give us a call if you’d like to explore pet massage as an option for your pet. New clients must first schedule an appointment with one of our veterinarians to determine if your pet would benefit from massage therapy.
