All the convenice of a housecall combined with the laboratory, dental, X-ray and surgical support of a full service hospital. Dr. Magda is now available for housecalls, servicing San Francisco south to Pacifica. This is a convenient option for households with multiple pets, animals who cannot tolerate car rides or become excessively stressed at the vets office,or for owners for whom it is difficult to transport their pet to the office. Dr. Magda also sees pocket pets, including hamsters, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas and birds/parrots.
Housecall services available on weekdays, weekends, and some evenings. Please have your pet in an accessible location prior to the appointment (i.e. no cats hiding under the bed). Allow 20 minutes before and after the scheduled appointment time for arrival of the vet, as traffic can often be unpredictable. If she will be more than 20 minutes late or early, then you will be notified within an appropriate time frame.
During the visit, Dr. Magda will access your pets health status and may recommend bringing the animal to the Healthy Pets hospital for further labwork and hospital procedures. Animals that require surgery, dental cleanings and extractions, as well as hospitalization, will have their records from the housecall in the Healthy Pets database, and will not require another pre-surgical exam prior to the designated procedure.
